A 3D book mug is a drinking mug molded to look like a stack of books, usually in colored glass, so the "spines" catch the light the way a stained glass window does. You will also see it called a book stack mug, a bookshelf mug, a mug shaped like books, or a mug that looks like books. They are all the same idea.
The Vueeze BookHaven Mug is Vueeze's version of it. Vueeze describes it as a thick glass mug with a raised 3D book design, sized for a morning coffee or an afternoon tea, and safe for both the microwave and the dishwasher. It works as a mug and as a small decorative piece on a desk or a shelf.
Is the 3D book mug real, or is it AI?
The mug is a product you can order and hold, and the pictures you have seen of it are artwork. Knowing that up front is what makes this a happy purchase.
The glowing image that went viral, and the one Vueeze uses, is a promotional illustration. No glass mug lights up from the inside like that. What Vueeze describes and ships is a thick colored glass mug in the shape of stacked books, and it looks its best where the artwork puts it: near a window, with light coming through.
- Expect: going by the Vueeze description, a thick glass mug with book shaped layers in several colors
- Expect: small differences from one mug to the next in color and detail
- Your safety net: if it is not what you pictured, the 30 day money back guarantee lets you send it back
